This online application is a down-scaled demonstration of the nationally acclaimed and patented technology named as XrayTo3DTM which is the world's first web-based software to generate 3D model of bones from their 2D X-ray images. This technology is being commercialized by AlgoSurg Pvt Ltd.

This project includes development of an algorithm to generate 3D model from 2D X-ray image.
There are different configurations of the algorithm according to the number of X-ray images, accuracy required and the information available.
In this website the simplest configuration which takes only frontal (Medial-Lateral) X-ray image of knee joint bones
as input is demonstrated.

To view the generated 3D model by my algorithm, a 3D object viewer has been taken from JSC3D project and modified according to the requirements. Thanks to Onkar and Maxwell for their tips in server side programming :). |
